Fall brings a wide variety of apples, pears, plums and other orchard fruits to New England, ripe for the picking and so delicious with chocolate. We dry fresh heirloom fruit from Scott Farm Orchard and dip the slices in dark chocolate, sometimes gussying them up with a sprinkling of maple sugar and smoked salt, or crushed honeycomb or tree syrup toffee, or whatever inspires the chocolatiers.
