We love to follow local ingredients through the seasons and use them in recipes to create singular, ephemeral bonbons with creative (and always delicious!) flavor combinations. These little beauties do not stay around very long, so join us in the journey with these current bites:

Browned Butter Buttermilk Buttons the grass is that impossible green right now and cows are back out at pasture, so in celebration we made these little filled bonbons with fresh Vermont buttermilk and butter. We browned the butter to a nutty, savory amber and folded it into a dark caramelized milk chocolate ganache with Butterworks Farm buttermilk, added a dash of salt and enrobed it in a dark chocolate button that looks like the leather nubs on a proper tweed jacket.

Our chocolate bonbons are made without preservatives and the freshest, finest ingredients, many sourced from the fields and forests of Vermont. With this in mind many are made to order, so please allow three to five business days for us to make them before we ship them out to you!

Chocolate bonbons are best stored in a cool, dry, dark place, best temperature between 60-75ºF. We do not recommend refrigeration unless absolutely necessary. Chocolate bonbons are at their optimal flavor and texture if consumed within 2 weeks of their creation, and can be stored and enjoyed for up to 2 months.
