It’s summertime and we’re celebrating with a micro batch of dark chocolate tablets decorated with beautiful locally foraged black trumpet mushrooms!

Fellow local forager and musician extraordinaire Susan Whittle provided us with these beautiful black chanterelles, which look like delicate black lilies. We placed lemon-candied black trumpet mushrooms on a bed of 70% single origin Ecuador dark chocolate that has purple fruit and warm spice notes with a pinch of sparkling Atlantic flake sea salt, and they are gorgeous to behold and lush and bright to savor.

Each 3 oz tablet is wrapped in compostable clear cellophane with a handwritten ivory band.

Solid chocolate bars are at their optimal flavor and texture if consumed within 3 months of their creation, and can be stored and enjoyed for up to 6 months. Store chocolate bonbons in a dark, cool, dry place, best temperatures between 60-70ºF.
