Chocolate Kissa: Candace Jensen art talk & poetry reading

Candace Jensen will talk deep ecology, old songs, the universality of odes, and the celebration of complex, more-than-human beauty as an antidote for despondency and hopelessness in our time of polycrisis and collapse. We can only protect, nurture and restore that which we love- and Candace seeks to center the duty of loving interconnection and aspiring animism through her calligraphy, illuminations, letterpress and poetry. She will also read and sing versions of some of the poems incorporated into her work by Caroline Ross, Gerard Manley Hopkins, William Butler Yeats, and her own.
