Bespoke calligraphy love notes by artist Candace Jensen

Saturday February 10 from 1pm-5pm / $10 each card

Tavernier Chocolates Flagship Store at 128 Main Street, Brattleboro Vermont

Local artist and polymath Candace Jensen will be in the shop to create beautiful, personal hand-lettered messages for your Valentine while you wait, the perfect addition to Valentine chocolates! We are so excited to host Candace and offer her amazing talents in our new shop!
A little more about the artist: Candace Jensen is committed to realizing a culture profoundly informed by deep ecology. She is a polymath; an interdisciplinary visual artist, writer, letterpress printmaker, independent researcher, calligrapher, book artist, community organizer, activist, rewilding hype-woman and woods witch.
She is the Cofounder and Programming Director of In Situ Polyculture Commons, an art residency and ecology catalyst dedicated to fostering resilience, creative community, and regenerative culture in Westminster, VT. She also proudly serves as the Letterpress and Book Arts Director for the Ruth Stone House, in Goshen VT, and Art Editor and administrative collaborator for its independent poetry & art quarterly, Iterant Mag. Learn more about Candace and her work here.

Brochures and menus from Tavernier laid out on a table with a glass of red wine, a mason car with a tealight, and several bonbons.

We are busy concocting more experiential chocolate adventures as well as chocolate pairings and tastings with local artisan foods, craft beer and natural wines.

Stay tuned for announcements regarding in-person chocolate events in 2024! We can’t wait to see you!
